Representatives from BMT USA enjoyed another great trade show at Pittcon 2018. The event was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida and ran from February 26th to March 2nd.
In a departure from the format of past Pittcon shows where the exhibition hall was open for four days, Pittcon 2018’s exhibition hall only remained open for three days. Despite the new format, overall show attendance remained strong, especially on the first day due to the lack of other scheduled conferences.
Pittcon is the world’s leading annual conference and exposition for laboratory science serving a diverse audience from industry, government, and academia. This dynamic global event attracts participants from end users to managers to CEOs looking for ways to improve productivity and enhance research methods.
This year, BMT USA designated their booth to displaying and demonstrating a wide range of their laboratory ovens and incubators. Equipment displayed at the booth included a Friocell EVO 111, a Venticell ECO 55, which included the newly introduced ECO line control system, and finally a special Venticell 22 used for baking cookies for Pittcon attendee’s.
The new ECO line control system drew a great deal of interest at the show thanks to its demonstrable ease of use, as well as the control system’s ability to be utilized in numerous sophisticated applications. BMT USA’s stability and photostability Climacell units also continued to garner a lot of interest with the U.S. and Canadian customer bases.
During the three-day event, BMT USA representatives had the pleasure of meeting a diverse group of professionals from around the world. BMT USA representatives also received the chance to interact with several end users who often commented that they were impressed with the Heat Technology that was on display at the booth.
Overall, Pittcon 2018 was a successful show for BMT USA thanks to encouraging feedback from booth visitors, as well as the development of new project opportunities with several large companies in the U.S. and Canada. Thank you to all who stopped by and spoke with us at the show.
