Steam-to-steam pure and clean steam generators

The Genpro STS uses plant steam to generate clean or pure steam for sterilization, sterilization-in-place (SIP), direct product contact, heating, and humidification in pharmaceutical, laboratory, and food and beverage facilities. Capacities range from 50 lbs/hr to 5000 lbs/hr, and each unit is configured to your process requirements and facility layout.

Pure

Available in clean or pure steam configurations. Clean steam models support general sterilization applications, while pure steam models meet USP and water for injection (WFI) quality standards for applications requiring direct product contact.

Scalable

Configurable from 50 lbs/hr to 5,000 lbs/hr, the Genpro STS scales to meet the demands of your production environment. Deploy as an integrated steam source for a single sterilizer or as a centralized supply serving multiple pieces of equipment across your facility.

Reliable

ASME pressure vessel and sanitary 316L stainless steel construction resist corrosion, with optional electropolishing for added rouging resistance. Fast response times and tight steam pressure control without a pressure regulator support consistent performance for demanding production requirements.

Built for Consistent Steam Quality

ASME pressure vessel, fully drainable design, and non-proprietary components across cGMP, lab and food-grade configurations.

The Genpro STS is built around an ASME pressure vessel available in either single or double-tubesheet construction. All surfaces in contact with feedwater and generated steam are 316L stainless steel with sanitary connections for cGMP configurations. A fully drainable vessel and piping design prevents the accumulation of standing water, reducing the risk of bacterial growth that could compromise steam quality. Every unit is assembled with non-proprietary components and available in custom sizes and layouts to integrate cleanly into your specific facility.

Single or Double-Tubesheet Construction

The Genpro STS pressure vessel is available in single or double tube sheet construction. Double tubesheet construction is the standard specification for cGMP pharmaceutical applications, providing a physical barrier between the shell and tube sides that prevents cross-contamination in the event of a tube-to-tubesheet joint leak.

Fully Drainable Design

The vessel and piping system are designed to drain fully, leaving no standing water that could harbor bacterial growth and compromise steam quality.

Automatic Blowdown System

The automatic blowdown system uses a conductivity sensor to detect dissolved solids in the vessel and purges them automatically, minimizing scale buildup, improving operating efficiency and reducing routine maintenance requirements.

Fast Response Times

Using plant steam as the heat source, the Genpro STS responds rapidly to changes in steam output demand. Tight steam pressure control is maintained throughout operation without requiring a pressure regulator, ensuring consistent steam output and quality across varying demands.

Pure Steam. No Additives.

For applications requiring direct product contact and sterile pharmaceutical use, the Genpro STS can be equipped with a separation device installed at the top of the evaporator. The separator forces the generated clean steam through a tortuous path, removing residual moisture and impurities. When condensed, the resulting pure steam meets Water for Injection (WFI) quality requirements.

The Genpro STS is equipped with industrial-grade Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC controls that continuously monitor steam pressure and temperature to maintain consistent output. When integrated directly into a BMT USA sterilizer, the generator operates under full control of the sterilizer’s PLC, providing convenient steam quality management from a single operator interface. Optional feedwater conductivity monitoring provides an additional layer of steam quality oversight for applications requiring documented compliance.

Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC controls maintain precise steam pressure and temperature throughout operation.

Developed in accordance with GAMP 5 guidelines to support control system validation.

Touchscreen HMI provides real-time monitoring and control with an optional secondary HMI for remote access.
